چکیده

Silage quality has great importance in animal feeding as much yield. Quality characteristics are generally evaluated over crude protein and digestibility, but parameters related to mineral, total fiber, sugar contents also important indicators of silage its nutritive value. Plant could affect these parameters, material, thereby, any environmental factors indirectly. Weeds one the main problems corn production this study, effect weed density (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 weeds m-2) on ether extract, ash, starch, mineral (Mg, Ca, P) was investigated years 2019 2020. Inter-annual climatic variations had significant effects P silage. The densities observed only starch Ca content. Increasing decreased content showed an irregular variation. Weed did not cause Mg, silage, amount nutrition be increased by decreasing competitive ability at growth conditions corn.

Fiber Digestibility and Starch Content of Corn Silage

Corn silage is a major forage crop in Idaho, supporting its dairy industry. Corn silage produces more digestible energy per acre than other forages. Nutritionally, corn silage is palatable when ensiled properly, and high in energy because it typically contains 50% corn grain. Digestibility of starch declines as the kernel matures. Effective roller processing of corn silage ensures that most of ...

The Effects of Indigestible Neutral Detergent Fiber (iNDF) of Alfalfa Hay and Corn Silage on Ruminal Degradability of Ration Fiber in Sheep

Two experiments were carried out to evaluate the effects of indigestible neutral detergent fiber (iNDF) of ration for estimation of rumen degradability of fiber in sheep. In experiment 1, to determine feed iNDF, four ruminal fistulated Zel ewes were used. Three grams of alfalfa hay, corn silage, barley grain, wheat bran, ration 1 (including alfalfa hay and concentrate), and ration 2 (including ...

The oil contents of rye grain seeds ranged from 0.70% (type 25) to 3.92 % (type 1). Palmitic acid contents of oils changed between 10.82% (type 26) and 22.43% (type 10). In addition, while oleic acid contents of oil samples vary between 20.61% (type 17) and 37.86% (type 3), linoleic acid contents of oils changed between 18.91% (type 3) to 54.0% (type 13). Also, linolenic acid contents of oi...
